I've been looking for a lightweight frame to use as a rigid single speed. The idea is to spend as little as possible and use what kit I already have (26" wheels).
I was looking at the SAB Arco carbon frames from On One. Very light and very cheap for carbon, but very ugly.
I then spotted this:-
Which looks great in black/grey/green.
I don't know much about 7075 alloy other than it is very hard to weld, is very strong, but can fail spectacularly.
Anyone got any thoughts.... So many of these frames are knocked out a East, so my thinking with this is that it is no different except for the name on the headtube and the price.
seems v cheap - too good to be true?
it does seem rather good value.
i'm trying to work out what fork length it is suited to.
I'm going to be selling my medium dialled love hate frame very soon
Makes a perfect 26" wheeled rigid SS
medium is too small for me. i need a large...
that frame can be bought in a 18" which is possibly a little on the small side (19" is best for me), but with a long seatpost, it might work.
i built an on one titanium hardtail which was a 18" and that fitted fine (with a long thomson post on it), so there is hope.
