Hi,
I've done a search!
Do you think cleats for Look roady pedals will fit on my Shimano MT23 MTB shoes? I ask becasue the cleats look large, perhaps even larger than the space on the sole of my MT23 shoes!
Any help much appreciated!

No. Not a chance. Different bolt pattern. Too big. Wrong type of shoe.

Nope, Look cleats have 3 bolts.. those shoes only take 2.

road cleats rarely fit MTB shoes as they need a wide flat surface. Looking at those shoes, they have a cleat groove and raised tread area, so no, wont fit - and the bolt pattern is different !
