It’ll come even quicker the first time an irresponsible rider takes out and seriously injures or kills a pedestrian with one

What speedy legislation changes were their when the brakeless fixie muppet killed that women in London last year ?

None.

Why would Illegally altered ebikes be any different.

I can't help but think that the first time I try an ebike I'll just think 'why didn't I do this years ago!!' Good job I can't afford one 😂

So the honeys can see their massive bawbaggs swinging in the wind.

Imagine being any other water user. I was down in Devon a few weeks back for a sailing race which turned out to be a bit of a tactical drift at times.  So you've got 50 sailing boats, trying to conserve momentum, and two monumental douchebags tearing up and down the harbour making waves stopping the boats dead. Not to mention the noise pollution spoiling the day for everyone within earshot.

It would be like going to a mountain bike event, and finding someone turned up with a YZ250 2t and was determined to ride around the course the wrong way.

Jet-skiers are the nicest people on earth, said no one ever.  They're a very close second to wakeboarders in the "you're a f****** douchebag running the area for everyone" stakes.

Technically they are mopeds

so they are.  I didn't realise scooters and mopeds were different things. (thought there were two categories of scooter and moped was just å historic colloquial term).  They are mopeds in the original sense of the word.

simons_nicolai-uk - They are mopeds in the original sense of the word.

The word moped was coined by the Swedish journalist Harald Nielsen in 1952, as a portmanteau of the Swedish words "motor" and "pedaler". The claimed derivation from the term motor-velocipede< is incorrect. According to Douglas Harper, the Swedish terms originated from "tramp cykelmed motor och pedaler", which means "pedal cycle with engine and pedals"

nup wrong again. a motor isn't an engine. 😆

What speedy legislation changes were their when the brakeless fixie muppet killed that women in London last year ?

None , because none were needed.  It is already illegal to ride with 1 brake (rightly or wrongly)
