Hmm, I thought so, but I asked on-one about the el guapo 44 head tube, and they said it would only take tapered. Whereas my mega does take a 1.5 straight.

Depending on bike, I would deffo ask importer/manufacturer.

Check the Hope pick n mix selection and the external cups will make it happen for you

I advised a customer that a 456c would take 1.5 the other day. It won't due to internal cups molded into frame.
Don't see any reason why El Guapo wouldn't though.

I was looking at those for my rocket... it's a 44mm straight head tube so should just be some headset trickery?
