I emailed Stans about running a 2.4 nobby nic on a stans crest (the new 355 i think) for XC riding, he said it would be fine you just have to pay attention to its max rated psi. In this case i think 2.2 + on a crest is 40 psi max.

i have 2.35 High Rollers and swampys on mine (not the biggets tyre known to man) but work fine
