I am, midweek club ride over the hills behind Glyn Ceiriog. It's an awesome ride whatever the weather, but tonight is going to be special I think.

I'm riding home, will do 20 miles or so, but out for dinner, so can't do any more. Looks even nicer tomorrow.

i'm in the long sleeved club here too, what a muppet!

It'll be a long road ride home, via the stables to sort out the horse. Should be a good all round work out!

Suppose to be out with the wife but I'm knackered from work so I'm secretly hoping she can be persuaded to have a bimble rather than the 'coaching' session she wants in steep corners and drops. Reckon I'll struggle to ride them myself let alone show her how to ride them!

May go for a blast tonight in local woods on the MTB.

Had planned on a great big road ride after work. A Yale key put an end to that this morning when I was commuting in. Picked it up and tore a very large hole in my back tyre. Train for me tonight.

Hill of Fare in Aberdeenshire for a quick blast before I start nightshift. I predict I'm going to be tired at 7am tomorrow.
It's decidedly grey outside, but is dry.

Day off today so had a quick spin at cwmcarn attempting (badly) to conquer some of my demons on the downhill tracks in the dust.

Planning a very short road ride with my son aged 16 between arriving home and sitting down for supper, no more than 10 miles but taking in a steep climb up the dreaded Whalley Nab for leg strength training. Shared experience is good for Dad-son relations!

Stunning all day here on the coast, beaches were full and after the spectacular early sea mist cleared the place has been blazing and super dry.

Chose the CX'er for a long hack, sunburned arms and knees... And compulsory red nose.

Woooflippinhooo ๐Ÿ˜†

But I'm done for the day so you go out and enjoy it.

Just off to do a few hill reps and swallow some flies.
I should point out that tomorrow's sun is due solely to me taking the day off to take delivery of a new turbo trainer.

Another cold for me, it's lovely out, all those muddy freezing Tuesday's I did to earn it and I'm in bed preparing for hallucinations. Sucks.

Took the day off today and rode Gisburn. My first proper MTB ride since breaking my elbow. Pushed bits I'd previously been fine riding up, bottled a few bits on the downs die to a hit to my confidence, but otherwise a glorious day out.

Me! I managed to get out for a quick spin round the local woods with my other half and the dog. Had a great time, which put a smile on our faces which biking hasn't managed for some time :).

Dog managed to run into a tree too, which caused a good laugh after a brief period of concern...

Quick 9 1/2 miler on the MTB just got back now.

Just a Pootle, stopped by the lake for a bit, nipped to Nans grave, then quick blast back through the park as the sun was setting and the local drunks were pitching up for the night ๐Ÿ˜€

One of those awesome rides with one killer climb and one arm pumping descent. Was a nice 24c by the time we stopped for a beer at dusk.

was planning to be, but Pirbright's ablaze. Anyone nearby able to give any info where might still be open? Was aiming for Tunnel Hill and maybe Porridgepot, fire seems to be on Ash but reports say that surrounding roads are also closed.

Just had to text a mate and advise I would be missing tonights bike and beer event as I am away in Cambridge tonight.

However, given the huge number of cyclists enjoying their bikes in Cambridge this evening, I shall be enjoying the fine weather indirectly 8)

Yep I finished work a bit early today so had an hour at Woburn afterwards! Definitely feels like summer already ๐Ÿ™‚ One of those rides where you have the confidence to try some new stuff so I had a go at the option gap jump halfway down Transfer Line and almost wrapped myself round the same tree three times so decided to call it a day ๐Ÿ˜†

I was just looking at that the other day. I say looking, because that's as far as I got! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Had a three hour lunch break today so looked at a new bike and then took my Whyte Shoreditch commuter up to the Ridgeway for 24 miles of sunshine, breeze and topless french girls. Followed by a quick beer at the Goerga and Dragon and then back to the office.

The gap itself is fine, if you can do the jump before it you'll have more than enough speed (I ended up braking a bit before the gap actually), it's just the landing seems really narrow and my front tyre ended up grazing the tree to the right each time, so I think I may give it a miss in future ๐Ÿ˜†
