Another Maxlight here. [img] [/img]

That was after swapping from an all black theme with Bombers xc500, but before my white Rebas fitted. Minutes went to a good home.

Mainly XT with XTR rear, Bonty race light wheels, now with Rebas, Titec post, Charge saddle and waiting for my Thomson stem 🙂

Light and agile bike. Really love it. My girlfriends Cannondale f400 with upgraded Headshok fatty ultra and xt disc brake and rear xt V brake (from deore, lx to xt on hers)

My Chameleon. I'm beginning to think I should have bought this bike a while ago instead of going through a whole bunch of other "not quite there" bikes...

Looking through the photos I notice a lot of us seem to sit on a SDG Bel Air saddle. I have a cupboard full of barely worn saddles from other brands that I tried before I found the Bel Air. I now have 2 they love my bum and I love them because they let me ride further.

Baby blue Santa Cruz looks really sweet 🙂 I would not want to have one in that colour but I am pretty sure my girlfriend would be sold on one 🙂 When I was loooking for a bike for my other half, some really decent ones were turned down because some colours were not matching. Eventually found that Cannondale she accepted but had to listen for 3 days that the Headshok P-bone with 63mm travel (but matching silver) was better in her opinion than a Fatty Ultra air that weights 1.29kg and has around 80mm of travel, and rebound settings but is black and not silver... That was until she got some proper xc offroad action and felt the difference.

Your black Pace looks great. Wish my Kinesis was as black as Yours Pace 😉

Mieszko, my santa cruz is even blacker.
Was sold on your gf's 'dale when you first showed me the pics for the minutes, really sweet, simple looking bike.
I know what you mean about women, theyre almost as bad as blokes(;-)) for colour matching.
And the minutes are going well ta.

My current hardtail setup, I like it (especially the Alfine hub 🙂 ) And the rigid fork is really working for me at the moment, I love the direct tactile quality of the ride, plus it teaches you better skills (I think anyhow 🙂 )

My 2000ish Kona Roast recently rebuilt. A very fun bike.

[img] [/img]

My brothers 456. Only been used a handful of times and a bit too long for my liking needs a straight post and a 70mm stem.

[img] [/img]

Neither are especially saweet but they are the only ons I have photos of.

Candodavid, I bet that Curtis wheelies well. With that super slack seat tube your arse will be further back than the rear axle when your sitting on the saddle.

Last time we did this*, we gave ratings on our faves.

For me:

1. Daffy's Klien - sooo beautiful
2. GF's Chromag - love the colour
3. Mrs Swiftacular's SC - last time I saw it, I thought "yuck", and now I think "mmmm" (except the tyres).

No photos of mine (Soul and 1992 Lavadome).

*On the old forum. RIP.

The Look isn't actually mine but it is exactly what I am after for my next bike. I found the photo whilst doing a search. I didn't think anyone here would like it, in fact I thought it would be hated.
If I 'do' get one it will have Time spd pedals.
Apologies to Tiboy, I had intended irony with flat pedals on such an out and out xc bike.

Thanks, used caustic soda to take the anodising off. I could have done the whole cranks but couldnt be bothered removing them so I just did the front face where your foot rubs. The pic makes them look white though

Hi stu, I still can't make up my mind whether to SS it or not, I've got a K Force light chainset on order (should be here by the end of the month) and it would be a shame to throw two of the chainrings away. 🙁
