I'll be trying to race in the seniors once I've spent all day setting out the course. Must resist first beer before the actual race...

No racing this weekend after last weeks failed attempt to start again.

it'd be my first cross race, what a way to kick off!
i want to but need to convince 2 'interested in riding bikes but can't see why we'd want to go to a race' friends.
please help me convince them?

I got far too drunk last year as I missed my chance to race.
some non-cycling mates are coming this year as a halloween pre-party event! cheap beer (for london), good DJs, food, nutters on bikes in fancy dress....
what more do you need?
Not riding - but we are watching (several of us). Meeting in the half moon first - but we will remember to leave the pub!
Coming with the family to spectate. Hopefully there'll be a good turn out of fancy dress.
Could have done with a bit more rain this week to spice things up, but, mustn't grumble. 🙂

Stig won the fancy dress comp!
it would have been hard to beat jody crawforth and nick craig to win the senior race with a motorbike helmet. Though some say....
