The aluminium failed catastrophically. Or something,
JRA
car roof mounted bike vs height restriction
It's one of those new fangled folding bikes.
20ft to flat.. ๐ฏ
That's superb, one of the best I've seen!
The head angle looks about right now.....
That's just out of a service from my LBS and was given a clean bill of health.
huge huck onto a flat landing?
Wouldn't have happened with a carbon frame ๐
Took it to Halfords for a service?
[vulture] I'll take the forks and the shock ๐ [/vulture]
20ft to flat..
Nice neat wall.
Grass is a bit messy though.
Valves nowhere near logos. What do you expect?
My moneys on the car park barrier as well.
I was thinking more like this

Lifes too short not to go big!!! ๐ฏ
Jamie - I will NEVER tire of seeing that! Monumental!
bta = bike traffic accident?
๐
You could still ride home on that right?
Thats mine, I bought it off someone on here with a description of small dent in tube.
should I name and shame?
That guy in the video didn't time his pre-jump too well, amateur.
The bike though... that involved a car at some point.
Dropped packed lunch onto top tube?
Headtube angle reducer, also lowers BB at same time.
That guy in the video didn't time his pre-jump too well, amateur.
Exactly what I was thinking ๐
I've driven my bike into a height restrictor and it just came out of the roof rack with some slight damage to the front wheel. I'd bet a DH frame is stronger than the wheel/frame fixings on a bike carrier?
not made out of iron or plastic. i.e. accident waiting to happen
Front brake too powerful.
came up short and smashed his gonads into the top tube
metorite? fallling space debris?

I always wondered how much that guys riding was influenced by his name.
Boynamedsue complex?
crushed by giant cojones
aahhhh the memories, happened to me about 20yrs ago whilst riding an orange prestige (remember them?) - had a dramatic momentum cancellation whilst going down alter lane in bingley (got pushed into a drainage ditch and big rock by riding companion)
the frame ended up folding itself at the points on the tubing where the internal butting occured ๐ฏ looked identical to the OP's pic
I think keith lambert's still has a photo of it in his workshop!
odd thing was - only had to write off frame - forks, wheels etc all good and true!
I always wondered how much that guys riding was influenced by his name.
Boynamedsue complex?
He's just a nutcase I think..
I don't know why he bothered with a bike tbh, he might as well just chuck himself off a cliff!
That's from NWD right? Quote should have been life's too short to learn to ride a bike, gotta ride like a nutcase. Not sure I've ever seen the bender actually land anything....
Exceeded the manufacturers maximum recommended weight limit?
I saw a vid when he landed something once. It came after 6 or 7 crashes that would have killed or maimed anyone else. I couldn't see the point at all.
Darren Baremuff' though, occassional crash but some sweet moves
Apparently a 30 foot gap and a 30 foot tree was involved
1) so you saved the pool house from the tree but the tree fell on your mates bike.. FAIL.
2) Tories did it.
3) Your LBS is financed as a PPI, or has offshored the servicing.
4) Road into inconsiderate dog eggs at trail centre.
5) Your a landlord and deserve all you get.
6) a RLJ hit you when you had right of way.
