Nope, sold my Superlight to get one...or something similar. After a medium.

So, since this thread is bumped again, what do you think the eBay one above is worth? Whole bike new was only £1399 so I figure less than £500?

You were able to buy a Prophet 4000 for £999 IIRC. With the better shock and nicer colour, £500 feels just about right.

Just buy a new Prophet 2 and sell the bits you don't want/need.
That's what I've just done after waiting ages for the right secondhand Prophet/Five/Heckler without any success.

Got it from one of my LBSs for less than RRP which included swapping cranks to Truvativ OCT 2.2 and tyres to folding 60a Highrollers.

I would say thats at the top of what I want to pay frame wise (£380 at the moment), have a couple of offers for full bike for around double (and a little bit more) that figure...

Though the RP2 shock is a good incentive

I don't like the gopping green Cannondale decal 😳

...does the Prophet 2 come with Pike's with U-Turn. I saw the Prophet 1 the other day and noticed it didn't have u-turn.

Yep the Prophet 2 has the U-turns (409's), man I love that white colour and can ignore the graphics (though the white with blue graphics were lovely), the red(?) prophet 1 is gash!

Collection only iirc. They were Cumbria and Manchester again iirc which too far away.

TBH I've got some nice components and ideas of what I like to spec it with so I'm raelly after the frame only as I don't want the hag of flogging off unwanted bits.

Hmm, that is tempting. Got a 10% off voucher for Evans (more to do with ease of distance) which will get the price down to £1079.

fair comment, & I know what you mean about the distance, I was watching it, asit looked like it could have been a large, until i asked him to confirm.

ygm about a medium I heard about, for sale frame only.

y'ouch, looking again at the ad, it didn't look bad for £380 with those extra bit's, but I wouldn't have paid for £487 either...

I don't, but i'm sure I can get used to it, and when you're riding you can't see it anyway.
The 409 forks on the 2 are coil U-turns.
The rest of the spec is OK, but I've put my XT brakes, 70mm FSA stem, lock-on grips and Hope/XM719 wheels on from my old bike.
