Looking around for various custom kit suppliers, most seem to be fixated on roadie fit.

Who does decent wide fit jerseys with back pockets thin enough for XC summer use?

Provision

Not quite sure how a wide fit jersey with pockets would work. Wouldn't everything just bounce around?

Not really. Got a wide fitting Pearl Izumi and not an issue.

We did some club kit with NWMBA/OnePlanet Adventure a few years ago. If you want me to I can speak to the chap who organised it at (NWMBA) and find the suppliers.

Fair enough, I've given up on a few loose fitting jerseys as I've always felt like I'm going to lose my phone & wallet etc...

We've just had ours delivered from Massi via R53. Ours don't have rear pockets but they do quite a few options. Couple of quick pics on FB www.facebook.com/drovercycles

Agree with ac282, tighter fitting is much better with stuff in your pockets. As long as you're happy though.

We now use Champ Sys, previously used Endura then Decca. Champ Sys are the most expensive, but by far the best quality and have the best range. They do 'club' and 'race' cut jerseys.

Endura do exactly what you are after. Their minimum order can be made up of a range of styles too.

Endura, though the road kit is in light fabric and a tight fit, and the mountain bike kit is a heavy fabric in a loose fit. What I really want of course is a light fabric in a loose kit.

That said the short sleeved MTB shirts are very versatile 3 season kit, they go nicely over a base layer when it's cold.

The sleeve elastic on the long sleeved MTB is too tight to pull up.

Choice of zip length is a good feature, I run hot and like 3/4.

We use Carvalho Custom I've lost count of the number of orders we've had with them but It's well over ten and amounts to at least a couple of hundred of jerseys and other kit.

They're based in Portugal but the people you deal with are British /American so language isn't an issue.

Prices are good, quality is excellent and they're very flexible if there's something specific you want.

Lots of pics of the kit here

Or their site here

We had loads of issues with consistency with Endura - I can tell which year all of my kit came from because the yellow was never the same twice, one order it was totally different, so much so we got the whole lot FOC! They also stitch things on the piss - wobbly seams and that. They were cheap, but just not that good IMO.

We used pedalling squares in Newcastle, no minimum order, good lead time and free design...

They also have a quality cafe!!

We use Endura for our club clothing for the Woollybacks, always had good service from them, and plenty of styles, grid fleece, long and short sleeve mtb tops, even (shock horror) road kit too, and buffs. All good stuff and popular with our members.

Also never had any of the quality issues mentioned above, ours have been spot on.

Wanted to get my dad a custom jersey for his 60th this year as he's riding the off road C2C.

Wasn't sure whether to go full custom or get a decent jersey and some iron on lettering. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the feedback. Might stick with Carvalho even if we do have to pay +30% for a wider fitting.

We used to use Endura but as Matt points out MTB kit is heavy and sweaty even if it does last for ever. Our race team won't use it.

We've dumped Endura as although they were good a few years ago, their QC is now shocking (8 items wrong or faulty in a 30-item order) and lead times now laughable - 16 weeks last time I checked.
We've gone to Bioracer. Miles better quality for not much more cost and less than half the lead times.
