We are going to have a few designers on board , bit of a sort of skunkworks , hopefully with a bit of cross fertilisation sort of thing going on . There have been a lot of discussions going on with a mix of various designers from around the world .

Think were down to a dream team of 3 , each with their own viewpoints and strengths , on the basis that our previous (well Brants or mine) most successful efforts were when we effectively designed a bike because we wanted one ourselves (pompino / inbred / kaffenback - me , 456 . ti 456 , compo , summer season etc - Brant ) then one of the briefs is to design the bike youd want for yourself , as opposed to just make a product to fit into a range .

Two of the three do post on singletrack ,

One is a larger than life Barnsley lad ex formula one red bull team car designer who is ploughing headlong into composite area , a lot of industry knowledge and a big cellar .

One is a designer who has been designing something to do with yacht radar tracking systems , hes working on his perfect plymouth hardtail bikes - no idea what that means .

The third is a guy currently designing LED systems for fish tanks who I met today and bizarely enough quite reminded me of Brant with a bizarre design book full of dropout designs .

With that mix , who knows what well be making in a years time , probably carbon fibre fish tanks with a unique GPS tracking system .

Quite fancy a carbon fibre stem with built in led lights and a GPS receiver or a headset, I'm not fussy!
