I ordered my frame on 2 may and it still has not arrived.
Is anyone else out there experiencing the same?
yeh, same here.... were due this week... something to do with customs...
So have I, on May the 31st.
The satatus of my order is as follows:
"Order held whilst awaiting stock - Your order is on hold whilst awaiting delivery of a missing item(s)."
They are getting some sort of order tomorrow. I am awaiting a replacement shock which is due in that order.
They are having problems with the warehouse in America being a bit disorganised after the take over and are in the process of a total revamp to bring the company up to scratch.
Thank you, @Heuer27, for the acknowledgement. I hope that proves correct, and that my frame arrives next week. In perfect order. (Touch wood!)
Replacement shock? Why, isn't the Monarch any good? Also, how do you like yours?
They are looking at getting the lot shipped over, although thats not going to help you. Simon did you ever get yours?
Uebermensch the RT3 is a good shock, it is tuned for the FTM. I think Heuer was sent the wrong one. I can't get anywere near full travel out of mine, I've adjusted the sag and will update after next ride.
Hi gixerator
Does this mean the goal posts have moved again and everyone now has to wait until arrangements have been made to ship the lot over?
Don't Titus sell in the states anymore?
No, I was told that they are looking at an additional bulk delivery to speed up delivery (here). They still sell in the States and have more Kudos over there.
Check with Titus Tom for this weeks deliveries. I hope you get yours soon.
Yep my ftm had the wrong shock in it giving a bit too much travel causing the wheel to touch.
It rides great though. Well for me anyway. It's pretty firm on all the pro pedal settings and on firm its not far off lockout.
It's almost like a 5 inch travel xc bike and with the right wheels/ tyres on it it accelerates rapidly and holds it's speed well. On my regular route I was a gear or two higher almost everywhere. Not sure if it was the pimp wheels light stiff frame or a mixture. It certainly makes you feel a good bit fitter than you are.
Thank you, Gixerator and Heuer for the clarification.
I called On-One yesterday; was told that the bikes should arrive soon. No exact date yet.
Turns out quite a waiting… 🙁
…still "Order held whilst awaiting stock - Your order is on hold whilst awaiting delivery of a missing item(s)".
In the meantime, the prices have gone up for those who are yet to order one. The same goes for all other Titus frames (as well as the complete Carbon X). Apparently, there's enough demand, despite the scarce supplies.
Come on, On-One, how long am I still to wait! Hurry up, for Goodness' sake!
Hi
Got mine on Friday - Advise you all to check the frame carefully when it arrives. Mine is missing the rear clevis bushes.
Will be speaking to On One later!
See my post on the other thread
Ewan, when had you ordered yours if I may ask?
Also, why on earth so many 'parts missing' issues? And all the 'incompatible parts supplied' issues? It appears to me that the chaps at On-One and Titus are rather some sort of under-competent paper-gnawing bureaucrats than high-end bicycle manufacturers & distributors.
I came across the post of the head of On-One in the forum - a very amiable and considerate post it seemed - but the sweetest words won't suffice to repair the problems.
I've stopped checking the status of my order as nourishing a hope appears a futile effort to me now. Then, on the other side of the equation there are people in your shoes - they've (finally!) received their orders - but what use when parts are missing!
Hi uebermensch
I ordered mine on 1/5/2011!
By the way On One are sending the missing bushes out tonight
That's 6 weeks and 1 day, Ewan! I'm glad you did receive yours, and hope the bushings do arrive promptly.
As for On-One, Complimenti on the preposterously, outstandingly extended delivery times and entirely obsolete availability data on their website! As Americans like to put it: "You, guys, rock!" As a matter of fact, On-One, you roll along with rocking! Thank you for spitting in your customers' faces (give me 3 more weeks to wipe your spittle off mine).
What a failure of an undertaking! A waste of effort, time and energy!
Don't you expect praises from your customers! 🙁
Their biggest failing is the lack of communication of the situation and estimated delivery date.
Hang on in there though. It might be frustrating but you will end up with a great frame for a bargain price.
Thanks for the encouragement, Neninja. 🙂 I shall. Just a pity I won't be able to enjoy riding till mid-July or thereabouts (assuming, my local bicycle shop does manage to assemble the bike faster than I've come to expect them to).
