Even the rain, slush, slime and very slippy dippy roots didnt take the smile of my very muddy face. Normally after a race im moaning about this or that (normally how slow i was)!!! But i just plain enjoyed the event. All this does is make me want to train that bit harder for the next event. At 49 you would think ide know better....... Also did enyone else think the electric taps in the changing rooms where a bit of a shock (no pun)...
And does anyone know where and when the photos will be posted?
Yep, I REALLY enjoyed my laps. One dry one, one very wet one, and two sticky ones.
I'd forgotten about the electric tap. I was filling up my bucket and getting a good tingling, and then told the bloke behind me about it and he claimed he couldn't feel anything. Just glad I didn't try the shower...
im suprised they allowed us to use the taps if they had an electrical current running through them........ It only takes one small minded person to try and sue them and then there would be no more racing at Stanmer or anywhere else if the insurance companies have thier way!
They closed the pavilion when they found out.
