I do love a good thunder storm...
We had two pass over us in the Midlands, one, early on into the ride, huge crack of thunder all around us, hail and rain, amazing looking sky, no pics sadly.
Another latter on in the day, as we were riding home, proper mean sky, odd flash of lightning, many miles away, but huge ovehead crak of thunder.
Loved it!
Not directly, but Cannock Chase was decidedly swamp like on Sunday afternoon!
Torrential hail and lightening on my practice lap at Dalby on Saturday.
Got stuck in a large one last weekend. We were hiding under a dual carriageway and couldn't even count 1 ele... let alone 1 elephant between the lighting and thunder.
Properly loud aswell, it sounded like a supercar as it rumbled through the tunnel. 😀
Mates and I caught it on a 40 mile XC ride on Thursday which we had planned for ages! It never stopped for 4 hours and the tracks were just like rivers. We have never been as cold and wet as then!
