Was so happy Tuesday last week when work said go home but then quickly become very I'll with flu so had no chance to get out and ride in the snow.
Toying with the ideas of a short spin on the turbo but still feel stuffed up and sneezing. Who else has been ill?

Some sort of horrific throat infection with bad pain in both ears, constant headache and pain whenever I swallow. Plus if I don't keep dosed up on paracetamol I get the shivers. Off work Thursday and Friday and feel no better today. Gonna try and get to the doctors tomorrow. It seems strangely apt that it's been horrible outside.
Yes! And still not quite over it. Been off work all week with flu (or flu like symptoms to those that will claim it wasn’t flu) and still suffering with my chest, started last Saturday night with a fever.
Are you lot all teachers by any chance? Teachers always get ill when they have time off.
I think I've figured out why. It's like doing a maintenance wash on the dishwasher, or a pyrolytic blast of the oven, i.e. whack the temperature up high enough for long enough to get rid of any nasties.
Gets me every time.
Not a teacher but married to one. And I am a cop so spend loads of time with the great unwashed as well as in and out of hospital all the time for various different reasons. Not to mention shift work and having two children of our own at primary school. Don’t stand much chance really!
Yeah I'm a teacher. Avoided being ill all winter so far in till last week. Feel gutted I didn' ride in the snow but just don' feel up to it. Probably didnt help that I had to keep going outside to defrostmy boilers condensate pipe.
Yes, been struggling all week but forced self in to work as it’s a new job, been coming home having a bath to try and get warm then going straight to bed sleeping pretty much 12 hours straight. Got home Friday afternoon, went to bed and have pretty much stayed there since. I’ve admitted defeat today and admit that I have proper flu (only managing to type this as paracetamol just kicking in)

Missed the snow, but not ill tho, just in the wrong country for now 🙁
Not ill, but sent away to foreign climes until it will all be well gone and melted.
And it's boring work away at sea kind of work...
