So I am going up to whitby for the easter hols and I was wondering what the riding spots are that I don't usually go for.
Obviously dalby, the cinder track (from whitby-scarborough) and Guisborough woods (which I am yet to ride) are all ridable on a cross bike (but dalby is pretty rattly on it!).
So what else is there for offroad riding up there? I imagine some stuff on the moors but no idea where to start, even with an OS map.

There's some good riding around danby, Castleton rosedale and lastingham which is a short drive from Whitby. Saw some guys setting off from the the hole of horcum view site car park yesterday as well which should have some nice descents/climb near by.
