which size (4mm or 5mm) do i need for XT gear cables. Going to order both at once as cant be bothered to get the cable, measure it then order the Oilers. Anyone able to help me? Ta

'Think' I used 4mm on Shimano SP41 cable. Not sure how the SP41 stuff relates to XT outer. Not much help then!

that might be enough for me. I guess all Shimano outers will be the same.

From what I remember, 4mm for gear cables, 5mm for brake cables.
It has been nearly 7 years since I worked there though 😮
