[#5379256]

Going to Barmouth for 5 days so looking to do Cadair Idris, CYB, Pont Scethin and Rangers and Llanberis paths on Snowdon.

Lucky enough to have pairs of Queens 2.2, Dampfs & Purgs 2.2 but space is at premium in the car what with the wife, dog and nipper.

Any recommendations BASED on riding in those places with these tyres?

Im taking the 140/120 FS.

You need puncture resistance on the Rangers so i would advise high pressure. I use High Roller all year round Dual ply on the back and super tacky on the front. If that's any help !

No matter what tyres you have, you'll have a great time.

Remember to observe the correct times for riding Snowdon.

Size? Surely that's all that matters.

Definitely waterproof ones ๐Ÿ˜‰

(I live local and have Dampfs on one bike and a HR/Minion combo on another.)

Thanks folks. Used Dampfs at CYB before but XR4 on Pont and Idris.

Think ill stick to the Dampfs or put the wife on the roof to make room for other tyres...couldnt possibly put the dog on the roof!

Queens. But ideally the most sharp-rock proof.
