M486 brakes come with SM-BH59 hoses normally so you would need the gold insert in the first link. I would be very surprised if those brakes had been specced with SM-BH90 narrow bore hoses.

I'd listen to him ^^ then, I googled BH90 and it came up with some LX brakes and when I shortened some of those cheap crc brakes I used the barb and olive that came with some LX brakes on the wifes bike,
The barb was gold though so he's probably right..
