Are some better than others or should I just support my LBS?

Halfords. No choice with our scheme though Halfords will credit your LBS for a 'custom build'.

Our scheme is only through Edinburgh Bicycle but fortunately they have a pretty good range and can also get bikes from the likes of Cotic.

I have so far purchased two bikes on the cycle to work scheme from that lovely man Jon @ Bicycle Smithy, one of my Local Bike Shops. Support your LBS.

senor j - many small bike shops will take Halfords vouchers (we do). Just check with your local/preferred shop first, then when you get the voucher, rock up there and get what you want.
