We're staying at Merthyr Tydfil travelodge, I'm sure it won't be amazing but they do the job for cheaper than the rest!

I'm doing the same and am staying at the YHA hostel near Brecon on the A470. It's in the middle of nowhere but a nice place.

Cheers guys, we've booked the travel lodge. Twin room for two nights for £70, plus they are fine with bikes goin in the rooms!
