Anywhere'll be fine. Water rises and falls quickly.
If not, Helvellyn.

I was in Grizedale on Sunday and thought it was OK. Not much standing water. Lakes is rock, so it all drains quite quickly.

Also rode through Rydal Water, and my wheels were completely under water!!!

Weird, we must have had a tour of wettest BW's in Grizedale then, most of them were running with water and there were foot deep puddles all over the place.

Bear in mind it's also put down about 4 inches in the last 24hrs too !!

Hi fotherington, Rob here from the Kirroughtree gathering. How's things?

Sandy & I took Nancy the tandem round Hawkshead/Iron Keld area yesterday. Most of the trails had rivers coming down them, and anything grassy was soft/slippy/boggy. But as said above, its rocky so still happily rideable, just take EVERY item of clothing you own, especially shoes, you're going to be getting very wet. Just watch out for any fords, they're going to be damn deep.

Have fun.

Rob
