Wife and kids are off to Pompeii in may Half term with granny - therefore instead of workign ive an opportunity to go biking for a week.
Where should i go? (not ridiculously expensive)
on my own at present unless i can convince others to leave their families behind! haha
Finale at that time of year would be on my list
Highlands could be perfect.

It's brilliant once in a lifetime if you get the chance stuff.
Depends when exactly your half term is but 2nd Round DH is in Poland in May, just been pricing up a trip and it was about £500ea to fly, get a hire car from KRK and 4 nights in a hotel. Its a proper mountain resort, Ski and MTB. Bike park looks pretty good too, and watching a WC round is brilliant.
Couple of days riding, couple of days watching the racing...
