How long you over for?

We are riding in the Lakes on the last weekend of the month if you're still around and fancy it?

There's a cheapo, basic campsite on one of the roads to the left off the A66 before you reach Keswick. Mostly caravans but they have tent space down by the river. It's nice enough, basic facilities, right on the disused railway line that runs into Keswick.

Low Wray on the shore of Windermere is hard to beat in terms of views and its not too bad to get to.

Hawkshead is quite nice and easier access to the all important pub.

But if you want to sleep in you car/bivvy then I'd stay out the way in the Longsleddle valley at Sadgill at the bottom of Gatesgarth Pass - whats for breakfast? Nan Bield!

Chris and Adam may be out anyway if you're there at the weekend and you want company, drop me a line if you don't have their details.
