My 10yr old son loves riding with me at Cannock chase and is always looking in the shop and asking for a 'proper cycling top'

The small adults size one is way too big for him as he is quite little for his age.

Has anyone bought a top for their son and if so, where did you get it from?

Dare2B if they still have some in the sale.

Got my 8 year old a couple and a pair of baggies. They've been spot on.

Don't chain reaction do some? I've always got my son tops from there in the sale, think they were Polaris. Have a look at Wiggle and Evans too - they have some decent deals on bigger and smaller sizes. He might get away with xs.

They have a whole kids section if that does not grab you.

The Dare2B ones are £6.50 at the moment which given how quickly they grow out of them is a big plus for me.

Well......I have ordered him a top and some cycle shorts off Dare2B in the sale, another top off Evans, they've got a discount on clothing too at the moment.

Will have a look in Decathlon next week.

So with all those saving I ordered myself a new top too

Thanks for all the suggestions.

decathlon - my two (4 and 6) were in their luminous short sleeved Decathlon tops today. The sizing is a bit odd so make sure you try them on. I also got them baggy shorts with liners which have been a total fail, they tried them on once and refused to wear them again.

We also got the 6yr old a set of Protective kit (shorts, top and waterproof) from the Edinburgh Bike Co-op which has been very hardwearing and is about to get passed on to the 4yo. Very impressed with it.
