Apparently hospitalised following an unfortunate sequence of events.....burnt himself while melting his magic chain wax, then while cycling to the pharmacists for burn cream got freakishly knocked off his bike by a Bently driven by George Osbourne and suffered a blunt trauma head injury. 😉
I think he's fallen off his high horse and can't find a long enough ladder to get back up...

That's a good question, I've never seen TJ actually be offensive or insulting, repetitive and bullheaded maybe, but that's not illegal yet,.. is this the start of forum cleansing?

He seems to be on the receiving end of far more abuse than he dishes out. Lots of posters seem to enjoy ganging up and mobbing him and just accuse him of being repetitive and dogmatic etc etc which quite ironically far outnumber the number of his posts on any given subject.

only a wee ban surely if one was deserved in the first place. tj's always struck me as a decent sort even if he can't leave the argumentative bone alone. but given his advancing years i believe that comes with the territory. curmudgeonly, that's the word i'm looking for...

FFS, he really does need to get a grip. Much, as actually quite like him being here, he does take it all far to seriously. I kind of wish he finds a life during his ban.
I've been at the end of one or two of his rants, he's never been abusive, obnoxious on occasion but never knowingly nasty, and he apologises too (if he's over stepped the mark that is)

I agree. It doesn't really matter what he says - you can guarantee that people will take the opportunity to jump up and down on him.
This forum is poorer without Fred IMO, but he didn't leave the mods with any choice but to ban him.

That's because he rarely says anything unless it contradicts someone else's post - it seems he has a calling that drives him to have his opinion heard over all others
If he doesn't like the tone of a thread, he'll often make thinly veiled accusations of it being racist, sexist - you name it, anything to try and bring it down
