Did Gee just slow up and let them both past in the semi so that Dan could get points for the overall series? because thats what it looked like.
There is speculation that teams orders were made as Dan needs the points.

No, Gee was leading the group in the semi final with Dan in 3rd, which would of stuffed Dan out of the final which would affect his overall points, Gee is not after 4X points so had nothing but glory to gain from it, so he eased back (i think) to let 2nd take first and Dan take 2nd putting him into the final guaranteeing him more points.
I'm sure if Dan was in 2nd on the final straight Gee would've taken 1st.
They ride for a TEAM therefore they ride as a collective doing what's best for the team..

Having David Harmon (or whatever his name is) commentate was a mistake, sounded like it was the first 4x he'd ever seen. Didn't know the riders or the fact you can take different lines (I wanted to scream every time he said "amazingt, he came from way back"). Gotta love his comment at the start of the semi-final to, along the lines of although Dan and Gee are brothers there won't be any team tactics or helping each other - only for Gee to slow and let Dan past at the end :p
