You know the little plastic cap that screws in to keep the crank arms from falling off?
I want one of the other plastic things that does this up.
And they said I wasn't technically minded.

Isn't it for preloading the bearings, like on a headset?

Yes. Very easy to overtighten.
I use a table knife. Fits perfectly.

I use a plastic tyre lever.
Works perfectly!
