Not sure - I struggled to get them for a 24" but a friend in the trade came through eventually ๐Ÿ˜€
Ended up with 2 pairs!

Ebay - there are a few 20" forks on there at the moment, both rigid and sus. Does depend on headtube size, though...

Looks like you've go some pointers, so I'd just give you my opinion that the vast majority of suspension forks for kids bikes are absolute garbage. Springs are way too hard for a child's weight to compress, so no useful function + extra weight, which makes more of a difference for a young 'un.

Go for rigid every time.

I stuck some 2" BMX tyres on elder son's Beinn 20" - gives a surprising amount of cushioning at very low pressures. Remember everything is scaled down (except the bumps and drops I suppose) including their size and weight so an inch and a bit of tyre deflection is fairly effective and because they are fairly thick tyres they offer some (ie not a lot but some) damping.

Ring Islabikes and see if they'll sell you some? You never know.

1 1/8" ahead or 1" threaded?

best bet will be ex OEM "bankrupt" forks on ebay as mentioned above

If it's the latter your aftermarket options will be limited - would probably be cheaper to get a new bike (or a second hand one)

1 1/8" opens up the world of BMX forks which may be too heavy (Street / trail cromo forks) or too expensive (BMX race) probably no V bosses though.

maybe a trials fork?
