Hi,

Wheres the cheapest place to get 10sp split links? A fiver for a pair seems steep!

Cheers

You mean the ones that allow you to split/join a chain repeatedly?

£5 is cheap, the cheapest I could find the KMC ones was about £9!

On a thread just last week some one said that Decathlon sell own branded ones.

Yep decathlon, I've not tried to re-use them yet but they were £3.99 for a twin pack. Blurb says only compatible with SRAM, but the picture has KMC stamped on them, and KMC make chains for shimano so.....

If you can't get to decathlon then try parkers they were doing sram for £3.

Expensive kit? cobblers some 10 speed links are more expensive then some 10 speed chains, i think theres some pee take pricing going on here.

Hey,

Thanks everyone for your help. My chain is Shimano, will Sram links definately now work?

I will probably get the decathlon ones...

Regarding 10sp Bling, I can understand paying a lot for kit if i think its worth it. The price differential between 9 and 10 speed links is huge for something which is very similar. Thats why i'm being picky.

Cheers

I'm running a 9 speed sram powerlink on a 10 speed xtr chain and it works absolutely fine.

I wasted money buying a kmc 10 speed specific link for the sram chain I had previously. I then got a shimano chain and the 10 speed kmc link was a right pain to get on, ended up bunging a 9 speed link on the 10 speed shimano chain and it's been fine ever since.
