So long story short, I did previously have one, bought a few other bikes In the interim and felt that I didn’t need it anymore and a good buddy had been eyeing it up for ages and kept saying “if you’re selling it...”. So I dithered for ages and hadn’t ridden it too much recently, so thought I’ll let the frame go.

Well that was a stoopid mistake. And now can I find another frame ? Nope, nowhere, nada, zilch.

Have looked on fleabay, here at STW and cannot get one for luv nor money. So before I resign myself to just using the FS Scott all the time, any other suggestions as to where to look ?

Someone somewhere must have one lurking at the back of shed, garage, behind the sofa, now where do I find that thread on bikes you regret letting go...

Not quite a stealth ad, as I had an ad up here, not quite a rant - if it is, it’s aimed at me, more a get this off my chest and maybe just maybe there is another place to look for 2nd hand frames that I don’t know of.

Let it go. You had good times on that bike, and you will have good times again. But the frame is not the determining feature.

I'm sure it's black grape , it's a purple sort of colour. Email in profile if you want more details.

Well BFe sizing is odd, Cotic call it a large but it’s the same size as a Soul medium if you look at geometry charts

@walowiz

So it fits me at5’9” ish just right

Which BFe? Which Soul?

Geometry on both got longer for medium, at different times (even while still 26).

@kelvin - how many variants of 26” bFe were there ? Are they that different ?

I had a medium 26” and I’m 5’8”, sizing seemed spot on, but a mate did comment that it looked and felt a bit bmxey.

Main change over time was the headangle, but reach on the medium did grow at some point (and a different year to when the medium Soul 26 got a tad longer IIRC).

The first BFe 275 works well with 26" wheels as well, I've had a couple (last one got nicked 🤬 )

Just for info the 2018 bikes had the same reach as the 2016 bikes, which was about 20mm longer than the 'classic'.
