Sure they were. Plus-sized tyres have already killed hundreds of mountain bikers, but the fake news cycling press covers it up so the industry can sell more 27.5+ wheelsets - SAD!

Having had a plus hardtail for a couple of months, it’s nit tried to kill me yet. In fact ive got up and down things I hadn’t previously on my “normal” wheeled bike.

I was riding B+ yesterday and Piemonster was on 29er. I wasn't the one slipping and sliding when descending the sloppy mud.
