Pretty sure I read it's been cancelled due to operating costs. They are just running the enduro instead but doing 2 runs per stag. To make it a bit longer.
From what I understand it wasn't overly well subscribed this year and and huge numbers of marshals for not a lot of riders isn't sustainable...

Yup, fraid no race this year. (tbh I think they'd lost interest last year, it was barely promoted so no wonder signups were down. Same with the Macavalanche, though it's been saved).
Very sad though, ridiculously good event.

We could all just pick a weekend in July and head up and ride the uplift nonstop til our skin falls off and our bikes catch fire? (you'll have to forgive me if I pass on riding up the fire road to the wallride though)
