make it - because he could?
buy one - because all I'll have left is memories and I reckon that sitting in that would make me feel, just a little bit, closer to what it used to be like to ride a bike. And I like how looks.

Yeah I meant why buy one. Surely if you can't ride anymore you'd hang your bike on the wall for memories and buy a comfortable chair. No?
