Hi,
Where would those in the know get wheels built, somewhere vaguely close to Cambridge / Norwich?
I have the components - just need someone to put them together in a way that I'm not prepared to do myself. 819 rims & Pro II hubs, if it matters...

Steve Grimwood at Elmy's in Ipswich builds a mean set of wheels. Clearly Ipswich is neither Cambridge no is it Norwich, mind you. Mick Madgett in Diss might also be worth a call.
JT Cycles in Ely might be able to do them. Not sure whether they build wheels, but a friend of mine has used them for years for various stuff & is always happy with them.
Alternatively, Terry Wright's near Peterborough (Market Deeping) do wheel builds/repairs etc.
Grafham Water Cycling did me a nice set on 819s. Or Ben Haywards in Cambridge?

+1 for JT Cycles. Jerry builds an awesome wheel. Probably the best wheel builder I know of. 01353 667627 iirc
I'd use Bristowes in Orton Waterville, Peterborough. Dave Coxhead there know's how to build a really good wheel. I've had a few sets over the years and all have been spot on.
