Not riding at all.

I'd have said the former if you'd asked that a month ago!

There are many times that I've regretted not going for a ride.

I can't think of a single occasion that I've regretted going for a ride.

Naff weather - cold, icy, rain, snow and general miserableness

Not riding at all.

The weather is what is what it is, and you're a UK mountain biker ffs.

Not riding at all for sure. Went out today in the snow, didn't achieve much ! but felt much better about myself than if I'd sat in and did nothing.

No such thing as Naff weather... Just naff clothing or planning ....
Some of the best rides I've ever been on have been in less than ideal weather

Have not noticed any crap weather. Weather here in Perthshire is great. Still planning to go out tomorrow. Now the weather of 2 weeks ago that was bad.

Weather wasn't the best today, really wish I'd made the effort to get out though. Definitely will be tomorrow regardless of weather.

naff weather.
because it can put you off riding.
and if you only have a number of limited riding days, why waste it doing it in naff weather?

Not riding at all.

I was out Sunday past with a mate, we did a 30 mile run in horrible conditions:

Wind, snow, sleet & sub zero temps, but came home refreshed and happy - well after a hot shower! ๐Ÿ™‚

I can't think of a single occasion that I've regretted going for a ride.

I have xrays as momentos of a couple of rides I'd have been better off staying in.

+1 bregante,
regret not riding a lot more than cold/wet/whatever.
i actually really enjoy winding the road bike up to speed when its really wet, its quite invigorating.

Twas a battle through the icy wind and sleet today, but still felt better than if I hadn't ventured out. Battling the elements is part of riding. Can't wait til summer mind!
