I didn't break it, honest but I'd like to fix it. It's a metal lamp shade with 3 wire supports that look as though they were spot welded to the outer. One of the welds has failed. I'm thinking of trying to fix it with Sugru but can't find a good way to clamp it without me standing holding it for a day whilst the Sugru sets.
Help!
Mould the sugru/spread the epoxy into place, pull the spar down into the ring with a long piece of tape coming up from one side, over the spar and down to the other.
Or, sit it on a table and put/hang something off the spar to bring it to position.
Thanks - bit of progress, I fond some thin steel wire and an Ikea pencil. I think it might just work!
