[Closed] What's the consensus on no-brand singlespeeds?

Don't want or need, just wondering.

I like a lot of the non-bike stuff on there that I imagine designer homeware-obsessed folks would sneer at, so what's the general opinion on the no-brand singlepseed?

I think it looks pretty but I think I'd want something with more of a track record, and branded components.
Hmm.

£200 each, £250 for the polished and black.

I'd be suspicious of any "manufacturer" who knew so little about bicycles that they would allow a flipped photo of the lhs of the bike to appear in their marketing info.

I know it's easy to mock, but...

The Neo Bike is delivered in single-gear but can also be used in fixed-gear or to free-wheel? - eh?

I'd ask them which 'high street' has them for sale at £600 too...!

Some classic comments in the blurb!

"slick handle bars"

"is delivered in single-gear but can also be used in fixed-gear or to free-wheel. "

"Each part is finely varnished, crafted and assembled. The manufacturers are well-known for their craftsmanship and attention to detail"

"Dimensions
Length 166cm
Height 98cm
Handbrake to saddle 79cm"

Cheez0 - I don't they're trolling.

The original pic of the bike with the ropey saddle angle is in one of their galleries the right way around and it looks like it's been flipped in the pic up ^^ there at the top of the thread. It appers to also sport those well known ADNEK tyres.

Photos are flipped. Unless the Kenda brand name now appears on some tyres in mirror writing.
[EDIT] Beaten by 36secs!

You too could deal in general tat, just go to www.madeinchina.com or www.alibaba.com, where you will find manufacturers of hose pipes, fake fags and quite a few boutique UK bike brands (if you look hard enough)

Seriously, if you mant to buy a container load of tat you can sell it cheap

The chinese aint coming, there ere!
