New utility bike is 2008/9 Specialized Sirrus. Currently on 23c Vittoria Randonneur tyres, that come up as 20mm(!)
Any ideas how big a tyre they will take, with mudguard?
Also, suggest me some cheap mudguards.

AFAICR they came with 28mm tyres back then which should also work with a guard. They come with 32mm these days with clearances for larger.
