Best riding I ever did in Wales and a fantastic event. Disapeared without a trace. Please can we have it back?
.
Used to be run by the North Wales Mountain Biking Association but I don't think they're particularly active at the moment.... OPA/Llandegla staff might know more, or catshoe on here used to be/is a member of NWMBA.
Paging Maxheadset....Maxheadset to the forum please.

Apparently its the 25th anniversary this year and there is a possibility of it being resurrected. These type of events are very labour intensive in terms of marshalling-finding willing people to stand around all day is'nt so easy. Also with the profusion of "enduro" events these day snumbers are less certain. No Delyn challenge anymore but I think the dairy pack is still going.
I guess the challenge was seeing if you could spell the address right on the envelope.
Did somebody call .... I was asleep until the snow melted
Yep it became a bit of a management headache when everyone wanted a ride and get the wedges of cake and mugs of tea rather than help out by hanging around dull forest road crossings keeping the cars and mx bikes at bay.
The Flintshire ( Delyn) died a death when Flintshire CC required Birkenhead North End CC to ensure all marshals were CRB checked. Merida is bumbling along quite nicely but yeah we want the Cyffylliog back.
We are meeting Forestry Commission and Welsh Water this week to hopefully encourage an outbreak of handshakes to get consent to run the ride again this August.. more details to be posted on the blog at www.nwmba.org.uk as soon as we have them.
Anyone who would like to help with setting the route or marshalling on the day please drop a note
Was starting to get worried there for a mo Mr W.Too much suit wearing me thinks....
Yeah Max that was what I heard, BNECC couldn't find 20 scousers who'd pass a police check! ๐ Calm down calm down it's only a joke!
lol whytetrash.. personally I don't know why FCC would think anyone from that nice club from Wirral Subburbia needed checking... now if it was Liverpool Century running the event.....
