Ok
first up apologies for all those sensitive to what tyres threads.. ๐Ÿ˜€

However, in aug me and my training partner are doing the TR, and I was wondering if anyone here had done previous TR's and what sort of tyres thay used.

Current choices are 2.3 conti mountain kings or 2.1 small block 8's. Small blocks run faster, but not as good if it gets gloopy...

so any suggestions from and TR vets?

Cheers

Have an awesome time!

I did it last year on a Nobby Nic front and a Ralph rear - tubeless. This was a pretty popular set up. Was surprised at how many Panaracer XC Pros I saw!

If you know like the two you suggested already maybe try your MKs on the front and the better rolly ones on the back?

first things first, get rid of that spare tyre...then get some on your bike that don't leak

Second Jacksta. Racing Ralph and Nobby Nic is a very fast and grippy summer combo. Roll very nearly as well as SB8's but much more predictable when it comes to grip and less likely to get overfaced all round ๐Ÿ™‚

Enjoy!!!!

I'm going to be running Coni Rubber Queen 2.2 Tubeless, I've been running them since February and I have to say they are the best tyre I have ever run in my 13 years of Mountain biking ๐Ÿ™‚
