Have racing Ralph's and bike in shop to turn tubeless. Front tyre fine, rear a sieve after a ride along SUW when I got 2 double punctures, hence going tubeless. The rear tyre cut to bits, ok with tube though.
So what tyre would be best for this type of riding ?
Usual Innerleithen, GT, SUW, tweed valley,

I ran a Bonty XR4 on the front and an Ardent on the rear, both tubeless, when I did the top half of it - managed the rocks well.
I ran that combo in the Borders all summer, and just swapped the front for a single-ply Minion for winter. Still running it as it still feels like winter...
