dont want to light a fire under this one, just keep it simple.
i have been using conti speed kings all summer and rate them, but they are wearing down and the centre knobbles are low on them to start with. its getting wet and slippery now so what would you go for for the winter?
dont need to fold,
will pay for protection type tyres if the protection actually works,
cant afford mega bucks so in the sensible money range,
Given your not too particular requirements just buy any all round tyre. Pump them up properly so you dont get flats. There are loads to choose from. Get black round ones with nobs on. Simple.
I reckon the answer to this sort of question should always be 'High Rollers'.
They're just good.
bonty mud x. or HR or combi of both.
I'm just about to change back to Bonty Mud X afer a nasty stack last night on Panaracer XC's
ive heard good things about mud x's actually.
