[Closed] What type of bottom bracket and crank arm do I have?

I have a 2014 ish forme Windstar bike. It has an eccentric bottom bracket holder with what looks like an old square taper or octalink bottom bracket. I am not sure. However both crank sides are held on with what looks like a standard 14mm bolt and washer. Nothing like the self extracting Shimano or similar types. Identical fitting on both sides? No threads or the like to suggest any type of self extracting mechanism. Any idea how to remove ?

Can anyone tell me how to upload a photo?

Have you tried removing the bolt to see if it brings the crank with it?

Need a picture but does sound like a standard old school crank tool is all whats needed(what everyone used before self extracting bolts) they are plentyfull around and shouldn't cost more then 10 quid like this

I don't have a 14mm socket, so off to get one. However before I did I want to check to see if I need a special tool?

Definitely sounds like square taper - low rent ones have nuts rather than bolts. You need a 14/15mm socket to remove the nuts and a Crank extractor to remove the cranks - the tool has a socket end for the nuts

Don’t forget to check for a washer from the bolt or nut before using the crank extractor. Managed to strip the threads inside the crank when I was a kid by not checking, kind of mistake you only make once.
