I want to have the front wheel on my son's Hotrock rebuilt (someone has volunteered to do it if I get the bits). It needs a disc hub... I have a Hope xc hub and want to use the original rim. The original wheel has radial spokes. . . It's this one:

What else will my wheelbuilder need? I presume I can't use the original spokes, what about the nipples?

don't lace the wheel radially for disc use. you'll need new spokes, and go 3X. there are plenty of spoke calcs online.
