Trying to rebuild the above and lost the copper washer that butts up against the piston, tried to find a steel one about the same size buit not sure what size to use.
When pushing the piston back in with the pistone rod and washer against it how far do you have to push in?
1) Completely as far as possible
2) In a little
Also there doesnt seem to be a groove of sorts for the circlip to click into? Is this right?

there should be a groove for the circlip IIRC its quite deep into the bore. Dunno how it will go with a steel washer needs to be a pretty good fit and its brass so it bends and fails befoer wrecking the whole lever assembly in a crash
