I'd tried quite a few and reached the conclusion that I'd like something not too heavy or draggy with reasonably durabilty. I'm currently running Panaracer Razors but they do seem to wear quickly on tramac. I'm intrigued by Schalbe's new Sammy Slick or the WTB Vulpine but have no experience of either. Any suggestions?

WTB Vulpine, my choice (rear) for the HONC for the last two years.

Schwalbe Smart Sams or Kenda SB8s for me. SB8s wear quickly on the road though ๐Ÿ™

Maxxis Wormdrive did the trick for me when I was unable to ride "properly" off-road last year. Good for dry bridleway / fireroad and no issues on the tarmac. Oh and cheap!

Bontrager XR1, ridden them to work on road and a bit off road, seem a pretty good compromise.
