I ran them orginally with Hope rotors, they were good but not fantastic. Since then switched to the XTR rotors and they are now unbelievably powerful. Although the hope rotors werent new, and had seen a fair about of braking.

Dont know if this is the case with other manufacturers?

Hope floating rotors were very good, Shimano Ice Rotor is ok.

However, New Shimano XT on a decking cheap mean and nasty disc is mind buggeringly effective!!

XTR rotors way a f00kin ton!

Had them, they are good, so are Hope floaters.

Now using these, no difference in power or feel but miles lighter.

"The lightest steel disc rotor around, seriously tasty & practical pattern! Weighs c73g, an XTR 160mm rotor weighs c132g."

Your hubs are 6 bolt ISIS and XTR rotors are Shimano spline things and you can't be bothered with the extra weight of adaptors?

use some ashima rotors on mine, purely weight reasons. Save 1/4 pound of the bike weight so a no brainer really

Rt86 is the 6 bolt version

RT86 here... Working good! Far more corrosion resistant than Hopes...

Avid G3s on one set of wheels, KCNCs on the other. Both work, KCNCs do have less power, but weigh chuff all.
