Hi,

My son managed to loose the axle for the above at the weekend. There are so many variations on axles I don't know what to replace it with. Can anyone help?

The original axle was a boost spaced DT one.

Any help much appreciated.

I don't have the answer here and now, but I do have a Devinci Troy (2017) at home, so i can have a look tomorrow. My other suggestion would be to try calling Freeborn in Horsham - they used to be the Importers for Devinci, and although they don't deal with them now, they are friendly and helpful and will probably have the answer for you...

Try this - https://robertaxleproject.com/axle-finder-2/

I selected a boost Devinci Troy, and it is recommending this (but please, do it yourself, don't trust me)

REAR 12 MM X 198 MM X 1.75 THREAD

That should hopefully be enough info for you to order a more affordable axle like a Brannd-X or Burgtec to that length & thread

Thanks chaps. I tried calling Freeborn but they couldn’t help and I couldn’t see any details on the Devinci website.

I got the same result as you on Robert axle project honourablegeorge although I thought the tread should be 1 rather than 1.75.

If you could check yours tomorrow bigdaddy hopefully it states exactly what it is.

Thanks

Send Devinci a mail through their website?

Standard M12 nuts n bolts are 1.75 thread pitch, so readily available and easy to compare, the other 1 is visibly finer pitch.
Google images will show you the obvious difference side by side.

@bigdaddy.... try measuring across 6 threads, if 1.5mm it will be 10.5mm

Definitely looks 1.75 with 20mm threaded length, you just need the 12mm shaft length measuring, it'll be a longer axle than normal because of the split pivot system of the frame which could limit options.

@endomick so you want me to measure the axle length? Up to the thread? I’ll do that now, hoping it helps…

Does this help? Looks to me like 18.5cm?

@bigdaddy, Oh sugar, sorry for any confusion and the delayed response I go offgrid and incommunicado sometimes, no I meant the full length which is 205mm looking at the very helpful picture.
Christ that's long af, very limited options then. 1.75 205 20.
It's not for me but the OP, again apologies for not explaining properly and disappearing.
